FIU-RCMI Journal Club featuring Dr. Amanda Pollitt

Approximately 11 researchers attended the FIU-RCMI Journal Club, Mental Health in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Youth, facilitated by Dr. Amanda Pollitt, Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at Northern Arizona University. This provided an overview of the contemporary context for LGBT youth, followed by a review of current science on LGBT youth mental health. Implications for clinical care were discussed, and important areas for new research and practice were identified.
