Dr. James Jaccard, Professor at the NYU Silver School of Social Work and author of Theory Construction and Model-Building Skills: A Practical Guide for Social Scientists (2010, Guilford Press), conducted Advanced Statistics Workshops for FIU-RCMI. On May 14, 29 researchers attended a multilevel modeling workshop, and on May 15, 26 researchers attended a session on latent class analysis. Attendees will be able to apply these statistical analysis methods in their health disparities research projects. These sessions were a continuation of the Research Infrastructure Core’s Professional Development Seminar Series.
