FIU-RCMI Publishes COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall Preliminary Findings
FIU-RCMI researchers and its Community Advisory Board, made up of 25 members of local organizations across South Florida, conducted virtual town halls with community partners and the City of Miami to address COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among racial and ethnic minorities in South Florida. This study supports the feasibility, acceptability, and potential impact of virtual town halls for addressing vaccine hesitancy among racial or ethnic minorities; however, our approach was resource-intensive and required an extensive community-university collaborative infrastructure.
