Community Engagement Core
The Community Engagement Core at the Research Center in Minority Institutions (RCMI) at Florida International University focuses on fostering collaboration between researchers, community-based organizations (CBOs), and individuals. Our mission is to advance health equity, address disparities, and create meaningful solutions through community-driven initiatives.
Community Advisory Board (CAB)
Our CAB serves as a bridge between researchers and the community. Our works closely with the FIU-RCMI so that community voices are heard, priorities are aligned, and our research efforts are culturally sensitive and relevant.
Community Research Enhancement Grant (CREG)
The CREG builds the research capacity of FIU-RCMI affiliated CBOs by fostering partnerships with FIU researchers, providing research training, and facilitating research strategic planning.
